Loving is a Mother's Day flower box you can send any time of year: mauve pink spray roses, ruffled pink and cream lisianthus, pale green carnations and plenty of purple statice, packed into a round box, white or silver.

Choose it for Mother's Day or your mom's birthday. Mixed pastels also suit a friend who would find red roses too much.

Lisianthus does a lot of the work here. Its double, ruffled flowers pass for small roses at first glance, while its green buds keep opening into new blooms after delivery. Purple statice is the main filler: it threads through every gap with tiny papery blooms and holds its color even as it dries. The spray roses, several small heads to a stem, are a cool mauve, which ties the pink to the purple, and the pale green carnations keep the whole mix fresh. Eucalyptus and glossy leaves trim the rim.

For brighter pinks with tulips, see a candy-pink box with tulips. Blush and white with no purple is the blush rose and hydrangea box.

Loving comes in one size only.
