Florida Sunset is a purple flower arrangement in a round box, white or silver: ruffled lavender lisianthus, dusty pink roses, pink tulips and star-shaped lilac clematis, with a little blue hydrangea.
Choose it for a birthday when you know she loves purple, or for an anniversary when red roses feel too expected.
Our florist mixes three shades, violet, lavender and rose pink, so from across the room the box looks like one purple cloud, and up close you see many different flowers. By the second or third day the tulips have stretched taller and opened wide, showing dark stamens and a yellow base. The clematis stems stay long so their stars reach past the edge, and lisianthus buds open one by one as the first blooms soften.
For a pastel mix with peach roses and blue cornflowers at the same price, see a pastel arrangement in a white vase. For bright pink orchids in a box, see pink orchids with roses and dahlias.
It comes in one size, with tulips and clematis in every box.
