Orchid Charm is a white orchid arrangement in a round hat box, white or silver, with the orchids resting on white roses, small white spray roses and lime green carnations. Purple stock sweeps out at both ends.
It works as a congratulations gift for a colleague, or on a wedding table. Green and white look clean on a desk, and the purple keeps the box from feeling formal.
Purple stock is where the fragrance comes from, sweet and close to cloves, and you notice it when the box is still on the doorstep. The carnations keep their ruffled shape well, while the roses move from tight cups to open heads over the next few days. Our florist places the orchids on top and leaves one stem of buds hanging over the front edge. The lid stands behind the flowers, as if the box was just opened.
Want this white and violet palette as a hand-tied bouquet? See white orchids and purple stock wrapped in paper. If you lean toward blush instead of green, white orchids with white roses and pink spray roses come in a similar box.
Whichever size you choose, Classic, Signature or Grand, the green, white and purple mix stays.
