Adolescence is a white ranunculus bouquet: about 20 round ranunculus, white or sometimes a soft cream, with spikes of white stock, wrapped in paper with a long ribbon and delivered in a glass vase.
Send it to welcome a baby or to offer condolences, where strong colors would feel loud. White on white also lets you see the texture of every petal.
Each ranunculus head holds dozens of tissue-thin petals wound in tight spirals, and over the next days they open into wide, ruffled cups. White stock adds height and a clove-like scent, and its spikes break up the round ranunculus shapes. Our florist lets a few stock stems reach past the edge, so the outline stays loose and uneven. Ranunculus stems are hollow and soft: recut them with a sharp knife, since scissors crush them.
To see white ranunculus and stock with cream garden roses added, look at the all-white garden rose bouquet. More choices are in our ranunculus collection.
Adolescence is made in one size, about 20 ranunculus, with the vase included.
