We plant each bowl by hand, so the exact plants change from bowl to bowl, but every one mixes flat rosettes, spiky shapes and a soft trailing plant. The colors run from lime green to purple gray, and some leaf tips blush pink or red in strong sun.
Put it in the brightest spot you have and water only when the soil is completely dry. The bowl has no drainage hole, so give a small splash at the base of the plants, about a quarter cup, and never leave water standing in the bottom. Too much water harms a succulent faster than too little.
