Violet Whisper is a pink orchid arrangement in a round box, white or silver. Bright pink phalaenopsis orchids with thin white edges sit over pink pompon dahlias, white roses and spray roses, white stock and hydrangea.
It has the strongest color of our orchid boxes, a good match for a birthday or anniversary when white alone would feel too quiet.
The orchids catch the eye first. Each petal is deep pink with a fine white rim, so the blooms look outlined. The dahlias repeat the pink in a lighter, rounder form, and the white roses, stock and hydrangea keep that color from crowding. Thin white spikes of veronica poke out past the edge and break up the round outline.
If you'd rather have white orchids with soft pink, see the orchid box with pink roses and cream dahlias. For the same bright pink as a living plant, look at pink orchids growing in a square pot.
Each size of Violet Whisper, Classic, Signature or Grand, uses these pink orchids with the same pink and white mix.
