Our heart-shaped rose box holds 25 roses and about 5 spray roses, all in one color, set low in a white heart box. Pictured in red, it also comes in white or pink.
It suits an anniversary, a Valentine's dinner, or an apology that needs more than a text. The shape says it before anyone reads the card, so a short message is enough.
Our florist sets the full-size roses along the outline and into the two curves at the top, then fills every gap with smaller spray roses, so from above you see petals and nothing else. In the days after delivery the heads loosen and the heart turns softer and rounder, and red roses darken a little as they open. The box holds the flowers in place, so it can go straight onto a table or a nightstand.
For a mix of seasonal flowers in the same shape at a lower price, look at a heart of carnations and spray roses. To add dessert, roses that share a red heart with macarons are the sweeter option.
There is one size, and the price does not change with the color.
